Create a staging site on managed WordPress to experiment with your ideas without affecting the live website.
Note: Staging sites are available if you have a Deluxe, Ultimate, Developer, or Pro Managed WordPress account. If you have a Basic account, you need to upgrade your account to use a staging site.
The staging site is offered only with Deluxe, Ultimate, Developer, or Pro Managed. If you are still using a Basic account, then upgrade it now.
For creating a staging website, follow these steps:
- Visit the FlickMax Product Page.
- Log in with your username and password.
- On the My Products page, select Managed WordPress, then click Manage All.
- Now tap on triple dots and select the Staging icon.
- Select Create a Staging Site.
If you have a Pro account, then it’s superb in a few minutes, we will make a copy of your site to use it as a staging site. For Deluxe, Ultimate, and Developer accounts, move to the next step.
Select how you want to stage your site:
- Clone from production
- Copy site design
- Finally, click on Create.
Note: If you’ve got a Pro account (available only in the U.S.A. and Canada), that’s all you need to do. It’ll take a few minutes for us to make a copy of your production site to use as a staging site. For Deluxe, Ultimate, and Developer accounts, continue with the next step.
