Push Your Staging Site to the Production site

Once you finish working with your Managed WordPress Staging Site, later on, it can get pushed for changes to the real site.

Follow these steps to push your staging site to the production site:

  • Log in to your FlickMax account.
  • Next to Managed WordPress Websites, click Manage All.
  • Choose the set of instructions for the type of hosting manager you are using.

Warning: The sync process will only overwrite files by default. If you push with Overwrite content selected, the database will also be overwritten. Make sure that the content you have on the staging site is what you want on the live site before you push the changes to production.

Note: Any custom code or assets that are not stored in the /wp-content folder will not be moved to and from staging.

  • Click Settings under the site you want to use.
  • Click the Staging tab.
